Uber has reached an exclusive partnership agreement with Hélipass to offer flight reservations between the Nice-Côte d’Azur airport and Cannes at 160 euros a pop.
According to French channel BFMTV, this first-of-its-kind service in France will be tested out during the Cannes Film Festival, which runs May 13-24.
THE UBER FOR PRIVATE JETS HAS LANDED Included in the Uber app, the new flight feature will offer “a seat in a helicopter that will take off 15 minutes later” according to Frédéric Aguettant, president of Hélipass, which signed a partnership agreement with Uber to shuttle users to and from Cannes in 7 minutes for 160 euros.
The new icon will appear in user’s apps on the first day of the festival.
